Independent lender group

Maple BTC Yield lenders are organising.

We lent bitcoin to Maple’s BTC Yield product and are still owed the remainder of our principal. We are collecting contact details from affected lenders so that we can share what we know and act together. If you are in the same position, add your details below.

If you lent bitcoin to this product and took the partial repayment in November 2025, you are in the right place.

What happened

  1. 2025. Lenders advanced bitcoin to Maple International Operations SPC, acting for its BTC Staking Segregated Portfolio 1. The product described the bitcoin as held in qualified custody, with yield generated by staking in the CORE ecosystem.
  2. Autumn 2025. A dispute between Maple and CORE Foundation led to a court injunction that froze the portfolio’s CORE tokens for around six months.
  3. November 2025. Lenders were offered repayment of 85% of principal, with accrued yield written off and the remaining 15% left outstanding.
  4. June 2026. A secured lender enforced its security over the portfolio’s remaining bitcoin.
  5. July 2026. The Grand Court of the Cayman Islands appointed joint receivers over the portfolio.
  6. Since then. The receivers have reported to creditors and invited proofs of debt. No distribution has been made, and claims have not yet been adjudicated.

This is a short summary drawn from Maple’s communications to lenders, the court record and the receivers’ communications to creditors. We are lenders to the product — not the company, not the receivers, and not your advisers.

Why we are collecting contact details

Lenders are dispersed, and Maple has not provided a way for us to reach each other. A verified list lets us:

  1. share factual updates from the receivership as they happen;
  2. coordinate on whether coordinated legal advice is worth the cost, and on what terms;
  3. make sure lenders who have not yet filed a proof of debt know that they can, and how.

Add your details

Thank you — your details have been received. We will be in touch from a Proton Mail address. Please check your spam folder if you do not hear from us within a few days.

If you would rather not fill in a form, email with the same information and we will add you by hand.

Please use the address Maple used for your lender statements or updates.
This may be a company, a trading name or a nominee — whichever was on the document.
It is in the terms of your loan confirmation. If you no longer have the document to hand, leave this blank.

We ask a question taken from the loan documents, to keep out spam and people who were never lenders. We do not ask for the amount you lent or any wallet details, we do not publish any list, and we do not sell or share your details.

What we do with your details

What we collect. Your email address, the name shown on your lender statement, your answer to a question taken from the loan documents, optionally a voucher and any note you add. We do not ask for the amount you lent, your wallet address, or any financial detail.

Why. Solely to verify that you are a lender and to contact you about the BTC Yield recovery. Nothing else.

Who sees it. The organisers of this group. We do not publish the list, sell it, or share it with Maple, the receivers, or any third party without your agreement.

How long. Until the matter is resolved, or until you ask us to delete it. Email and we will remove you.

Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it, at any time.
